or maybe she just hates getting her picture taken. This afternoon I tried taking a few photos of Eleanor out on the freshly cut grass but Eleanor was not having it. You can tell in a few of these photos she was NOT happy! My goal was to get a good photo of her two bottom teeth….but no such luck. I guess we’ll have to try again tomorrow.
I’m exhausted! Eleanor decided to get up bright and early this morning and so of course she couldn’t just play in her crib for a few more hours. Since I was up so early I decided to get a start on my “To Do” list. It was quite lengthy today. Mom my is flying in late this afternoon and I wanted to make sure I got all my errands, cleaning and yard work done before she gets here. It’s almost 2pm and I just finished. Now you may ask what are the two great smells??? Let me tell you…
1st. Fresh cut grass! I swear there is not a fresher smell! It defiantly makes mowing the lawn worth it!2nd. Swifter Sweeper Window Fresh wet wipes!! Again, it’s worth mopping the floor simply for the great aroma! I don’t understand how people can use products such as Pin-sol!
Well now that my work and errands are done and I still have time to spear, I’m going to start my new set of a TV series on DVD. This time….The Sopranos First Season. I’m so excited! I know it’s a waste of time…but I can’t resist a show about the mafia!!
Yesterday was our third year anniversary! Eleanor and I spent the morning and afternoon in Arizona. We had lunch with Mimi and Grandpa then flew into Salt Lake at 5:30. John was there to greet us and it was so cute watching Eleanor and John see each other. They were both so excited!! I had called my cousin, Kelly, the night before to see if she could watch Eleanor while John and I went out to eat. John felt guilty dropping Eleanor off after only seeing her for a few mintues, but we did and we had a really nice dinner. Eleanor was okay for Kelly. We left her for a little over an hour and she cried for 20 mins.
It’s kind of wild to think we’ve been married for three years! I can’t really decide if it feels longer or shorter then three years. We’ve had a lot of great memories these past three years! As for now, I’m really happy where we stand, but I wonder what new memories we’ll have three years from now?
Well, I had a great time in Arizona this last week. It was nice spending time with family. Eleanor LOVED getting so much attention from her cousins. We had T over the weekend and he and Eleanor loved each other. I can’t wait until they get a little older and can interact more.
It’s always so much fun going away, but its also nice coming home. Of course John had the house and yard looking great! While I was gone he had planted three new trees. I’m happy to say our yard is just about complete!! I’m so anxious to spend time outside this summer. I know Eleanor is going to LOVE hanging out outside. Yeah for summer time!!!
This week Eleanor and I are having a great little vacation in Arizona at my parent’s home. My mom is so good to bring Eleanor and I home every few months. Its so much fun to be around family and have Eleanor get to know all her little cousins. WE LOVE it! I just wish John could come down with us more often. I need to start getting him used to this hot weather…
So, one thing I wanted to accomplish on my little vaction was to start a blog. I have so much fun reading others and have wanted to do this for quite some time. John and I actually made a goal of keeping a journal this year. So far we are only 5 months behind… so I’m hoping this will allow us to catch up and stay on track.
